Charley Creek Gardens Candid Family Maternity
SPRING!!! Oh, how I have missed you! I couldn’t be more excited to share the Hays family’s session at Charley Creek Gardens in Wabash, Indiana. This adorable young family traveled all the way from Alaska to spend time with family and have their new baby. We weren’t sure if we would be able to squeeze in a family maternity session before baby #2 arrives. But I am so thankful for the timing - because the gardens were in full bloom.
Let me give you a glimpse of what a Sweet Pickins Studio family session includes! I aim to capture a mix of posed group portraits with candid interaction. Each stage of parenthood is sooo unique and I aim to photograph spontaneous connection and smiles at whatever stage you are in. With an active two year old, we were constantly on the run in this spring garden. Little ones light up when Mom and Dad get down on their level - just to play, tickle, kiss and snuggle.
As summer approaches, the sun is setting later - which can make scheduling a sunset session more difficult for young kids, but it is SO WORTH IT! The light coming through the trees puts off a beautiful glow. I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with your family photography session!
