It is always so nice to meet again with returning clients to capture their family’s milestones. I originally met this adorable couple in 2019 for a summer “couples” photography session in Highland Park at sunset. Lila and Tyler found out they were expecting their first baby in the Summer of 2020 and tentatively scheduled their Maternity Session for Christmas-time. Lila decided to wait a little longer for her growing belly to get bigger and we rescheduled for January. Oh, I am so grateful — because we were blessed with the most perfect timing of a light winter snow. Our location had beautiful flocked evergreen trees and the her beautiful blue dress really popped off the snowy background. It was so touching to see Tyler’s excitement for their little baby boy and I loved hearing about how he picked out “Baby J’s” name. Lila’s pregnancy started off rough but they are just a month of way of welcoming their newborn. It was an honor to return to Highland Park to capture this new season in this young family’s life.
